GDPR (Privacy Policy)

1. General Information and Responsible Body

The security of your data is important to us. In this privacy policy, we inform you about how we collect, process, and protect personal data when you visit our website or place an order in our online shop.

2. Hosting and E-commerce Platform

Our website and online shop are operated via the e-commerce platform Shopify Inc. (151 O'Connor Street, Ground Floor, Ottawa, ON K2P 2L8, Canada). Shopify provides the infrastructure and software through which we offer our products.

Processing: Shopify processes your data on our behalf (order processing).

International transfer: Data may be transferred to third countries outside Switzerland and the EU (in particular Canada and the USA). Canada has a recognized, adequate level of data protection. For transfers to the USA, Shopify uses recognized safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission.

3. Collection of Access Data (Server Log Files)

When you visit our website, the hosting provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits to us. This includes:

IP address of the requesting device

Date and time of access

Name and URL of the retrieved file

Browser type and version

Operating system used

Referrer URL (the previously visited page)

Purpose: This data is technically necessary to ensure stable, secure, and undisturbed operation of the website.

4. Contract Processing and Orders

When you place an order in our shop, we collect and process the data necessary for the purchase:

First name, last name

Billing and shipping address

Email address (for order and shipping confirmations)

Legal basis: Processing is necessary for the fulfillment of the purchase contract and for compliance with legal obligations (e.g., under the Swiss Code of Obligations, OR).

Payment Service Providers

For payment processing, we transmit the necessary payment data to the payment provider you have chosen. Processing is carried out according to the data protection regulations of the respective providers:

Credit Cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express

Mobile Payment: Apple Pay, Google Pay, TWINT

Invoice purchase / installment payment: Klarna

 

Shipping Service Providers

For the physical delivery of your ordered goods, we pass on your name and delivery address to the commissioned transport service provider (e.g., Swiss Post or corresponding courier services).

With your consent, we use the Meta Pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Ireland) or Meta Platforms Inc. (USA).

Function: The pixel allows us to track user actions after they have clicked on an advertisement on Facebook or Instagram. This serves statistical purposes and helps us make our advertising more relevant to you.

9. Newsletter

If you actively sign up for our newsletter, we use your email address to send you regular updates about our products.

Double Opt-In: For verification, you will receive a confirmation email after registration. The registration is only complete after you click on the link in that email.

Marketing Data & Newsletter: Is stored until you revoke your consent or unsubscribe.
